Bible Question (short): Praying in the name of the Trinity |
Question (full): Hi, i recently had some experiences with knowing more about Catholic and i noticed that when they pray, they pray in the name of the Trinity. Meaning "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,Amen". But for Christians, we only pray in Jesus name. i would like to find out if it's biblically correct to pray in the name of the Trinity, even though Jesus instructed us to pray in Christ's name?.. Is it wrong? Is it necessary? In Romans 8:26, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, so does it mean that we(Christians) pray to Holy Spirit too? What about praying in the name of the Father? Is there any biblical instructions about praying in the name of the Trinity?? |
