Bible Question:
how can one bear much fruit? based from the book of john 15:4-17 |
Bible Answer: Greetings Pepay, The words "bear much fruit" can be found in John 12:24, 15:5 and 15:8. I interpret John 15:4-17 to say that we will only have life in Christ, and apart from Christ, there is no life. Only with this life (with Christ) can the bearing of fruit be possible. And we can only bear fruit by abiding in and with Christ. If you part with your life in this world for the sake of Christ (John 12:24-26), then you die to this world and are able to bear the fruit that you can only bear by abiding with Christ. Blessings to you, Makarios |
