Bible Question: How can we understand in simple words about the christian fruits? I'm trying to do my best, but I'm not sure if I'm really doing right. But still is very subjective for me. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Augusto! When John speaks of bearing fruit, I believe that there is no better description of that fruit 'in plain language' than what Paul wrote in Galatians 5:22-23.. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." [ESV] I believe that it is of no certain coincidence that Paul listed love as the first fruit mentioned! Blessings to you, Makarios |
