Bible Question: What are some of the arguments for and against the existence of God? |
Bible Answer: This may sound wierd but I have heard this said based on evidence from John 14. Belief in God depends on if you believe that the Bible is telling the truth. One evidence that the Bible is telling the truth is that Jesus said that when He left the earth, God would send the Holy Spirit. We can tell that the Holy Spirit is with us because he lives in us, and that is how we are saved. If Jesus told the truth about Himself getting to heaven and the Holy Spirit coming, then the Bible is true. Jesus is in Heaven with God the Father, and the Holy Spirit is in our hearts. Therefore, the Bible is believable about all it says about God's existence. God Exists. Hope this helps. |
