Bible Question: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE VERSE ? |
Bible Answer: This is spoken directly to those who believe Jesus was a great teacher/mentor, or a great prophet, but do not believe he was God. It is also spoken to those who believe that Jesus never existed, or the Christmas-and-Easter Christians who think the Bible is full of morality stories but are hesitant to FROG (Fully Rely On God). It's spoken to us when we're alone and afraid and faced with the difficult choice to do God's will or to do our will or to do the will of someone trying to demand and control us, and it's God telling us that he loves us, always has, and always will. |
