Bible Question: What is the significance of the feet? |
Bible Answer: The washing of feet is a sign of servitude, and humility. Matthew 23:11-12, "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." So if Peter would not allow his feet to be washed by Christ he was in a way, denying the service of Christ. |
