Bible Question: How was Lazarus killed after his resurrection? |
Bible Answer: Greetings lovespirit! The Bible specifically does not mention just how the man named Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead (John 11-12), eventually died. John 12:10 states that the chief priests sought Lazarus' life and wanted to kill him because he was a 'living testimony' of Jesus' claim that He was the Son of God! Lazarus was also sought out by the people (John 12:9) because of this miracle that had been performed. But the Bible never says that the chief priests were successful in their attempts at Lazarus' life. So the cause of Lazarus' eventual death is unknown. Blessings, Nolan |
