Subject: WHY WAS JESUS |
Bible Note: Hi There, I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back to you as I am slowed down by a bad cold. And if I still don't make sense, that is the reason.:) I didn't and don't disagree with anything you have said. I am afraid that after the initial paragraph of my post to you I "waxed eloquent" to everyone who would hear. So my question "Do you believe this? was open to everyone. My idea in the posting was to show the comparisons of the pronouns with the *. Also with the parenthesis. For instance, I see a relationship between John 11:37 and 47 concerning the (Man) who is performing signs and could have kept this man from dying. The question of do you believe this concerns whether anyone sees the connection of verses 26 and 50. In other words do we see this man as the Son of Man or as just a man. Do we believe that He is a Man who came to die for the whole nation, and not that nation only. And do we see that if we believe in Him that we will never die. So what I am saying is: In order to apply these verses to our lives and beliefs we have to recognize the Deity of Christ as shown by capitalization of the Scriptures. By the way, I agree with you, and rejoice with you, that in one of your posts you stated that God's Word is Truth. He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. So, I didn't mean to question your beliefs. I believe that we can find a relationship between John 11:26 and John 8:32. Later, Ray |
