Bible Note: Hi, JRM - The idea that man had a spiritual existence in heaven as a spiritual being before he came to earth, then goes back to heaven to resume his spiritual existence really brings up some gargantuan theological questions! If this absurd hypothesis had any element of truth in it, Christ died in vain. Of what use is a Savior if man comes from heaven, lives on earth for a time, and returns to heaven? This patently unscriptural idea of man's pre-existence in heaven is akin to and as preposterous as the idea of man's reincarnation. One marvels at the pagan notions that find their way into the heads of some people who profess to be Christian. They certainly aren't subscribers to sola scriptura! --Hank
