AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 1:18 No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father]. [Prov 8:30] |
Bible Question (short): who saw God in the bible? |
Question (full): My question is Who in the bible saw God,as in Genesis 28:11-18 people have cofronted me with arguments that Jacob saw God.But as I read thro' this scriptures I see that while on his way he had a vission where he saw aladder and angels ascenting and descenting and saw the Lord standing on the ladder.Somewhere in Judges Gideon said no one can see God and live,he will die but himself saw the Lord's angel. My question is did Jacob saw God or the Lord's angel? and if not who real saw God face to face. |
