Bible Question:
thank you for your response. and my answer to your questions are yes. regarding JW - who wrote the JW bible? and what parts are re written and not a translation? the only major difference i saw was that they inserted the word "Jehova" instead of lord. also what do you make of the part in the bible where God says "from dust you are made dust you will return" - im not sure of the verse but its in genesis. also when jesus says there is no wisdom in sheol, no knowledge. and it also says in the bible that the day you die , your thoughts do perish. (sorry i dont know where about in the scriptures!) could anyone explain? another question - the JW believe in jesus, love him and god. they are babptized. because they have apparently got a few things wrong in the bible, does that mean god will send them to "hell"? after all, they do have the best intentions. its just debateable or not whether they have misinterpretated the bible or not.its not as if they support satan. they have excepted jesus christ as their savior and try and live their lives as best they can through him.????? |
Bible Answer: Other than JWs' denial of the deity of Christ and virtually every basic doctrine of the Bible, there is nothing wrong with their teaching. If you or anyone else reading this is a Jehovah's Witness, please understand that I am not against you as an individual. Grace to you, John |
