Bible Question: how many unforgiven sins are there? |
Bible Answer: If you mean how many sins will not be forgiven, then the answer is only one, and this one can only be commited by a non christian, in other words if you have become a christian, then you have gone past the time in your life when it was possible to commit the unforgivable sin. The only way to become a christian is as a result of believing what the Holy Spirit tells you i.e. that you are a sinner, and are in need of salvation. If you accept His invitation to receive Jesus as your own personal saviour, then you will become a christian, but if you refuse, then you are calling Him a lier, and as a result will not be saved. In our Lord's day the unforgivable sin was to describe the Holy Spirit's work, as the work of the Devil, see Matthew 12:22-32, in our day it is calling the Holy Spirit a lier. |
