Bible Question: how do John 1:1-2 and John 1:14 relate to each other? |
Bible Answer: The author John is saying that in the beginning was the WORD. Now if we think about it we will see that the WORD itself is Jesus Christ. John verse 14 is saying that the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us. The WORD who dwelt among us is Jesus he came in the form of flesh so that he could live among us. If he didn't do that then he would not have been able to live with us. The three verses are the same refering to the WORD as Jesus. They speak of the same person. |
