Bible Question: Why are we not to look back? |
Bible Answer: Picture this: You're plowing a field by hand (no fancy machines back then). You look back, for whatever reason, and now you're not plowing in a straight line anymore. You've taken your eyes off the goal and now the lines are all sqiggly. When we take our eyes off the Lord and start doing our own thing, then we're not walking right anymore. And there is a change that you might look back to how you life was before and be tempted by it again. I encourage you to keep your eyes on the goal, and no look back. |
