Bible Question:
Question re: Rev. 19:10 NIV 10At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." I'd like the meaning of this explained to me. Thanx Sarah Violent_Chook |
Bible Answer: In this Scripture, John was about to pay homage or worship to an angel. The angel was telling John not to worship him, because he (the angel) was just another servent (created by God) like John, to worship and do the will of God. We are to only worship God (Luke 4:8). |
