AMPLIFIED 2015 | Luke 24:39 "Look at [the marks in] My hands and My feet, [and see] that it is I Myself. Touch Me and see; a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have." [John 20:20-27] |
Subject: Is flesh existing in heaven now? |
Bible Note: Thank you, Kalos and momma for your excellent replies. Yes, verses 24:42-43 fortify the belief that Christ was actual flesh after he had arisen. "42And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43And he took [it], and did eat before them."(KJV) However my thought was that after His ascension into the clouds, there was no longer use for this fleshly burden and Jesus is in heaven in His resurrected body, or his Spirit, but I find it hard to think He is living in flesh in heaven. Is there anything to that? Bless you and thanks. |
