Subject: Did Jesus suffer in hell when he died? |
Bible Note: Jesus had not ascended to Heaven in physical form. Remember his spirit left but his body remained. Remember Hell is a place of eternal damnation...no one returns. Christ paid for the penalty for sins once, not twice by going to Hell. He suffered at the Cross, not after the Cross. When he said it is 'finished' his suffering had ended. He continually told the apostles that he must suffer many things BEFORE his death and resurrection, not after. Read Luke 24:38 Jesus clearly says that a spirit does not have flesh and bones. So when Mary saw him it was his flesh, not his Spirit. I guess I should have been more detailed and said his spirit. If any one has other opinion or proofs I welcome them. |
