CAN SOMEONE ANSWER MY QUESTION NO. 44 WAS JOSEPHMARY RICH. if poor, where is scripture? How did they live in Eqypt and Nazareth? (Scripture pls. Carpentry was new inventory. Should've been rich |
Bible Answer: They were poor. The wise men came with gifts after Joseph and Mary took Jesus to be circumcised. The price they paid for the redemption of a first born son under the law, as the absolute minumum required from those too poor to offer a lamb. Joseph and Mary may well have had to live by selling the gifts the wise men brought, or from Joseph's trade. |
