AMPLIFIED 2015 | Luke 19:8 Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord, "See, Lord, I am [now] giving half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone out of anything, I will give back four times as much." [Ex 22:1; Lev 6:5; Num 5:6, 7] |
Bible Question (short): Should we put right our wrongs? |
Question (full): Hi, thanks - that reply was very helpful. But I don't know what to make of this verse. It sometimes makes me think there is a need to set right what wrongs you've done. Or you could say Zacchaeus wasn't feeling guilty but did it out of love. Either way, is there a need to set right wrongs, even though God has removed your guilt? |
