AMPLIFIED 2015 | Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, "If you have [confident, abiding] faith in God [even as small] as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree [which has very strong roots], 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea'; and [if the request was in agreement with the will of God] it would have obeyed you. Bible Question (short): Faith like a mustard seed? please help |
Question (full): hello, and thank you for answering my previous question. if I am asking too many please tell me, but I have been reading the bible and sometimes get confused. when Jesus said if you have "faith like a mustard seed "you could move a mountain, and "ask and you will receive" ask in Jesus name and it shall be done? I have been praying to get better, and have some faith, and have asked god to heal me, but I am getting discouraged even though I read and pray daily. I pray for an hour each day and then read gods word. I am just trying to understand - ask an you shall receive, and if you have faith like a mustard seed, -- I have faith (a little) and ask god for healing, but I'm still sick. I just cant understand if Jesus says those things, why wont he heal me? my faith would really grow a lot. This stuff is confusing! Thanks again for reading my questions and answering |
