Bible Question: What is the significance of the eagles in this verse . I have compiled my own notes on this verse but I still want to have more input on the matter. -thanks midaman |
Bible Answer: When the disciples asked where Jesus' return would take place, Jesus did not answer directly. the eagles will be gathered: The term for eagles here refers to vultures that gather over dead animals. When the judgment comes, it will be final and terrible, with the stench of death and the presence of vultures everywhere. No one will need to look for the place of judgment; the presence of the birds will reveal where the carcasses are. |
