Subject: what happened to OT people who died befo |
Bible Note: Your question was answered. Upon death the righteous that awaited for the Messiah went to Hades but Abraham's bosom where they waited. The unrighteous also went to Hades but to the hot dry side to await judgement. Jesus who is the Messiah upon his death went to Hades and preached the Good News ( the gospel) to the righteous dead in Abraham's bosom. Jesus then lead them as their Messiah to heaven. In my last response to your question I gave all the bible references. Read through them again. Now who says that isn't the answer? Why do they say that? What do they suggest happened? Again Hades is explained Luke 16:19-31. Eph 4:8 explains Jesus leading those in captivity of death to heaven. 1Peter 3:19, 1 Peter 4:6 tells of Jesus preaching to dead. |
