Bible Question: Can I get a description of hell? |
Bible Answer: I guess a good starting place would be Luke 16:19. It talks about this rich guy that went to hell, (KJV). The guy was suffering greatly, and knew it. It mentions flames and the fact that the guy was in so much torment that he actually believed that a small drop of water off of someone’s finger tip would soothe him. He had his memory. He was able to remember the fact that he had brothers. He might have even remember people trying to pursade him to live a godly life. And more importantly, Hell is a oneway trip, once you go in, the ONLY time you come out is to be judged and to be cast in the Eternal Lake of Fire, your Eternal Resting Place, providing you’re not a Christian that is, Rev. 20:13-15.
