Bible Answer: Been a Christian for 8 years. What I know is this is a parable, a made up story to reveal a truth. This parable is for you to see each person story thru their eyes and also with God's word. It is to reveal how God wants you to react when you are the son, the father, or the brother in this situation applied in your situation. The son was repentant, the father was restoring, but the brother was self-centered. Agian, it is a story but the point is really about Grace, having it anf needing it. |
