Bible Question: Is there a scripture in the bible pertaining to "being about business in business"? |
Bible Answer: Hi, pry! Unfortunately Scripture is not an accumulation of teachings in various sciences (though it does cover all science)... still, since the Holy Scripture is God-inspired, the Holy Spirit has revealed much... some of the times we must employ several passages from various books in order to clarify a point... In addition to what has been offered here's my collaboration: Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's.” And they were amazed at him. (Mark 12:17) If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:11) If we combine the above passages we could conclude that: a) We are God's, hence we are obliged to render to God what is God's, and, b) Whatever we do, we must do it in Christ Jesus so that in all things Christ is honored and through Him the Father is praised! God Bless! Angel |
