AMPLIFIED 2015 | Luke 12:10 "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit [that is, whoever intentionally discredits the Holy Spirit by attributing the authenticating miracles done by Me to Satan], it will not be forgiven him [for him there is no forgiveness]. Bible Note: Greetings lionheart, Since we find 15 accounts of the word faith being used in James it might help if you could give me an idea of the particular verse that you had in mind and I will try and break it down for you. A prime example would be the use found in the Jas. 1:3. Here the word in the Koine is actually the noun PISTEOS used in the genitive case; the case of origin, feminine gender, and singular, so you see here it isn’t even used as a verb. Give me the verses in question and I will try to help, CDBJ |
