Bible Question:
Tim and all, I am sorry that I forgot a word ... "verse" Many is not most of us have been taught that agapao/ apage love is highest, God's or unconditonal love ... asking for nothing in return. However, in Luke 11:43 we see the Pharisees love (agapao) the chief seats ... how does this vesre fit what we have been taught about the Biblical view of love? Searcher |
Bible Answer: Greetings Searcher! It would seem to me that if agapao love is to be reserved to/for and of God alone, Jesus is making a stronger statement here than we might at first perceive. What do you think - is this consistent with what Jesus has taught in Mt 6:24? mommapbs |
