Bible Question (short): still confused |
Question (full): "The Trinity is composed of 3 persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is God. They are 3 in person but one in essence." i personally happen to have a different take on the topic, but my question really wasnt about the trinity. for the sake of discussion we'll assume that the trinity theory is correct and the father, son and holy spirit are indeed 3 in person but one in essence. wouldnt one have to conclude, then, that blasphemy against one would equal blasphemy against all three, therefore all blasphemy would be either forgivable or not forgivable? but the scripture in Matthew states otherwise. how can this be? again, i really appreciate your guidance on this subject, i'm writing a paper on it and this dialogue has been quite helpful so far. |
