Bible Question: This would be the mother of John the baptist. If children is a promise of abraham and the seed of abraham why are some women not conceiving!? |
Bible Answer: I don't think there is an absolute answer to your question. At least, I don't have one. Of course there are medical problems and some of those could be with the husband, not necessarily the wife. But I think it unwise to attribute sin to another as a cause for a problem like this. John 9:2-3 And His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?" Jesus answered, "It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him. |
