Bible Question (short): John the baptist Last high priest? |
Question (full): Could I consider John the baptist as maybe the last high priest of the Old Testament. With John being from the priestly division of Abijah, and with John baptizing Jesus thus passing the sins of the world to Him through baptism(Laying on of hands). |
