Subject: word of God or Word? |
Bible Note: Hi Ronaldo, I speak from experience when I say that you are considering a life-long study. When you talk about the word and truth as being one of the Persons of the trinity, then you are talking about capitalization. If you are talking about a Person, you are talking about the Truth and the Word. So I would have you capitalize truth when you write "He said "I am the Truth"". But when the "word of God" is found in the Scriptures it is not talking about the second Person. In fact the Revelation 19:13 verse is the only one that I can think of, "and His name is called The Word of God." But Luke 1:2 to my mind, is speaking of the Word, of a Person, when it talks of being eyewitnesses and servants. From the heart, Ray |
