Bible Question:  Are there any other occasions that healing was done under such involuntary actions?

Bible Answer:  Greetings! I can't think of any other instances off hand, except perhaps the healings of God through Paul described in Acts 19:12 "so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out."

But I'd like to consider Jesus' response: "Who touched My garments?" Doesn't this seem strange that Jesus, being God, did not know the answer to this question? I believe he did know who had touched Him - so why did He ask?

Perhaps it was an opportunity for the woman to declare her faith or perhaps it was for His disciples . . . the crowd was pressing in all around him and they couldn't tell who had touched Him, everyone was, or so it seemed!

I think the point here is that Jesus wants us to be aware of those around us - they need to touch Jesus too. Do we recognize their need? How are we meeting this? (Good food for thought for me!)

Hope this blesses your day! Mommapbs
