Bible Note: Hi, prayon! Many social events are frequented by a variety of people with as many religious beliefs... in a situation as described by worleybird72, there is much blame-projecting, unaccountability, and fear/antagonism against anything that seems accusatory... there's nothing more accusatory to human beings than Christ Jesus! (Isaiah 42:1-4) It is conceivable that if the poeple in the meeting desire so, worleybird72 may introduce not only Jesus' Name but an initial and ending prayer... yet, since it is he who can best guage the situation, he can keep himself in prayer-mode throughout the meet, repeating to himself the name of the God of the Amen! (Ultimately, that could prove to be a catalyst to an open manifestation of Christ, in the group, which will certainly change the heart and mind of as many as humbly open themselves to Him! (Luke 23:33-43) God Bless! Angel |
