Bible Question: what is blasphemy against the holy spirit? |
Bible Answer: Resent: Not sure why, but I received what I sent in "my email"...I may have not sent it correctly the first time. If you are receiving this for a second time, my apologies... ****Spelling Corrections and a few additions... Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is simply attributing the works of the devil to God and vice versa. It is cursing the Holy Spirit that is trying to redeem one's soul. Read Mark 3:20-35 and you will see this played out. It is also calling good evil and evil good which was one of the "woes" in Isaiah 5:20: Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Furthermore, it is taking our talents, as the Wicked Servant did (Matt 25),and burying them in the ground(mammon system, building, finding life) while all along the Holy Spirit is saying, NO!!! Touch not, Taste not, Handle not! (Col 2:21/I suggest you read the entire chapter and it will confirm what the Lord is communicating through me.) ***Notice the Wicked Servant calls God a "Hard God", this is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. ***Notice why the Wicked Servant blasphemed God. When we aren't born again, we will sow and reap in the flesh/the mammon system/the seen world, and we will be angry with God for not participating in our rebellion. Only a born again soul can sow and reap where God does...in New Jerusalem...amen and amen. The Holy Spirit is saying repent/sell all/be crucified while the devil is saying (We agree with devil and call evil good) find your life and build. So when we curse the Holy Spirit (Calling truth/good evil), Who is wooing us, and this continues until our last breath... we are guilty of blaspheming the Holy Spirit which is unpardonable because as a result the soul remains unredeemed and therefore unforgiven... Hope this helps... Crucified in HIM, Luis |
