Bible Question: Jesus Christ asked us to serve Him with our full heart, mind, soul and strength. What is the real difference between these four and how we have to serve and worship Him with these four? |
Bible Answer: Vijay Joseph, It says to love God in this verse, not serve or worship Him. Jesus is not saying to love Him, but, God (the Father). He is quoting Deu. 6:4-5. The difference between the four is well answered. Love Gos with your all. We are to serve and worship God, too (Mat 4:10). These are two different words, tho many think when we serve Him, we are worshipping. We are also suppose to love our neighbor - the despised Samaritians, as seen in the verses that follow. Steve |
