Bible Question: I want to know if married couples will be together in heaven also. |
Bible Answer: Hello blondi52860! This verse (Mark 12:25), along with Matthew 22:30, helps to explain that marriage is an institution that will not be needed or heeded in heaven, but will be "fulfilled" in our relationship to Christ with our new bodies that will be made imperishable! We will no longer need marriage and the advantages that having a partner provides since we will be "married" to Christ as His bride! However, I am convinced that we will recognize and be aware of those in heaven of whom we knew on earth. If you'd like a different response to this question, then please look up the responses to Matthew 22:30 or use the "Search" function at the right. Thank you! Your Brother in Christ, Nolan |
