Bible Question: Did Jesus exibit anger in this passage? Is it ok to exibit anger in our lives toward people we feel are doing something wrong or are we not to judge? |
Bible Answer: Num 25:4 The LORD said to Moses, "Take all the leaders of the people and execute them in broad daylight before the LORD, so that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel." Because of the Grace we have recieved we tend to select characteristics of God as if we were making selections from a cafeteria line. I'll take two deserts and skip the brussel sprouts please. Try a study on "fierce anger" and you will quickly grow in your knowledge of the depth and breadth of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Imagine, to be able to approach God who commands a reverent fear and trembling, as His child and call Him Abba. We are to judge. And that is another very important word study. |
