Bible Question: How does everyone veiw Matt. 7:6 ? i'm a little confused by it and i just wanted to see what everyone else thought about it. |
Bible Answer: If you read Matt 7:1-6, the passage is about passing judgement on another person. We as Christians have no right to criticise another person. If we have a conviction that a person is in sin, and we criticise that person, we are taking what is holy (our personal conviction of that sin) and throwing it away. It is no longer valid. If we pass judgement on another person, the "dogs" will turn on us because we are now in the wrong. They will now pass judgemnet on us. |
