Subject: g'day, this is just saying hello. |
Bible Note: Hi Matt, You wrote: "sometimes i sin, without realising it whether its my mouth that gives me trouble (swearing) or something i may do against the lord" Just by what you said in this post, you are realizing it! You are growing in the Lord. Look at the disciples, it took them three years to learn just a little about God, and still they were not all convinced. We all learn at different rates and by how much we are willing to let the Lord direct our lives. Jesus said: Joh 14:13 I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Joh 14:14 If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it. Joh 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. Joh 14:16 I will ask the Father to give you another Helper, to be with you always. Joh 14:17 He is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, for it neither sees him nor recognizes him. But you recognize him, for he abides with you and will be in you. So, in your devotions, ask, ask the Lord to help you. If we truly seek His ways, He will answer. And, you have probably heard it said that a baby must learn to crawl before he can walk. All things have their place and time. God has plenty of time but we are the ones that are on limited time, so keep pressing forward. And always acknowledge what He has done for you and thank Him. terrib |
