Subject: Forms of address to God in prayer. |
Bible Note: Thanks Hank!! How wonderful it is to call Him, the living and true God, 'Father'. Surely this is the greatest blessing of all!! That relationship broken in Eden has been restored through Christ, amazing! Therefore if God is MY Father, then I should be able to address Him in reverent and yet cotemporary terms. As the poet once said: 'Approach my soul the mercy seat, where Jesus answers prayer; there humbly fall before His feet for none can perish there'. Thanks again. |
