Subject: to get closer to god |
Bible Note: Dear Brian, While I understand that it is God who first seek us (psalm 139) before we can seek Him. However, there are scriptures telling us to seek God. If not, how should we understand the following scriptures: Ps 27:8 When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, O LORD, I shall seek." Ps 34:10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Ps 40:16 Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!" Ps 105:4 Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. Ps 119:2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart. Prov 8:17 "I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me. Is 55:6 Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Thank you for your further elaboration. Shalom Azure |
