Bible Question: Is the desire to be rich/ wealth a sin: since Christian are instructed by Jesus not attempt to serve God and mammon /money? And how does Satan offering Jesus the riches of the world: if only he would bow down and serve him plays into this scenario. What is the meaning of the love of money is the root of all evil? |
Bible Answer: Rich in WHAT? The Wisdom of God, the Knowledge of God, The Love of God? Yes those are "True Riches" for none of this "OTHER STUFF" are we going to take with us. Perhaps the best answer about True Riches is found in Matthew 6:33-34 and 1Timothy 6:6-10 Thank you! |
