Bible Question:
Should a Christian sue a doctor whose malpractice and negligence crippled the body of a patient in a severe level? Or should the patient forgive this? Thank you, Finder |
Bible Answer: Dear Finder, Forgiveness is required by every believer to all those who have wronged us for whatever reason. However, it does not mean that we are to ignore a redress of those wrongs. Our litigation laws are designed to just such an end. I always try to seek arbitration of one sort or another. Failing that, though, taking legal steps may be your only course. In fact, it is quite likely that the doctor's malpractice insurance will not be activated without initiating such an action. Of course, our forum is not a venue for advice -- nor do we claim its correctness. Consult with appropriate parties. In Him, Doc |
