Bible Question: Our light in this context does not mean the life we live, but the truth of the Gospel in particular, and in generalthe truth of God's Word as a whole. It's only through Christ that we become sons of the Father. ...........
If men don't see our good works in light of the Gospel, then they will misinterpret them, and not glorify God. They may wrongly think that we do good works not because of the saving grace of Christ, but because we're "good" people. .............

Some how we must explain the Gospel to people in such a way that they may see our good works (which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Eph 2:10) in their proper light that credit may be giving to whom credit is due, that is, the Father.

Bible Answer: So that..."they may BECAUSE OF YOUR GOOD DEEDS, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation."

1 Pet 2:12 Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.
