Bible Question: How is Jesus Satan's God? |
Bible Answer: Yes! The Lord is not a created being, having the fullness of the Deity dwelling in Him in bodily form (Colossians 2:9), and satan is a created being. If you take Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-19 to be prophecies that are in reference to satan and his beginnings, then you will see that satan was once in heaven with God, and worshipped Him as Lord. However, when satan fell, he took on a totally new nature and cannot be distinguished as being part of the kingdom of heaven, unless he does so by trickery and deception. But something did NOT change when satan fell, that is: that Jesus Christ is still the Son of God, Lord of Lords, and infinitely more powerful than satan! Therefore, Jesus is still the Lord and God above satan and will always and forever be. --Nolan |
