Bible Question:  I'm looking for passages that refer to the Word of God as any type of food, any suggestions

Bible Answer:

There are a couple of passages where milk is synonymous with elementary principles of God's word. Meat (or solid food) seems to refer to advanced principles of the word:

1 Peter 2
2as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

Hebrews 5
12
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

1 Corinthians 3
2
I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.
