Bible Question: Does the antichrist know there is a God, or does he think he is God? |
Bible Answer: Hi, lyndie! Yeah, Satan knows his limits! We can see in Matthew 4:1-11 that in God's Plan there is a little window for the devil to show his colors... The Holy Spirit brings Jesus to a cross-roads and allows Satan to engage Him. Satan, true to his design, boasts about his powers and his possessions... but once Jesus commands him to leave ("away with you Satan!") the devil takes off. Pride reduced him to the position of anti-Christ. But he and his minions believe that God exists (James 2:19 and Matthew 8:28-29)... their problem is not denying God's existence... their problem is refusing to live under God's authority! God Bless!
