Bible Question (short): Where is the Kingdom of Heaven?

Question (full): Where is the Kingdom of Heaven? (Question 1) Did Jesus refer to the heaven where our heavenly father resides or the new earth that is the changed form of the current earth? (Question 2) By the way, in a Christian funeral, we say the dead person is with the Lord now. If that is the case, why does the Bible say the dead are asleep, waiting for resurrection? If s/he is already with the Lord, why does s/he need any resurrection? Thank you for your answers in advance.
