Bible Note: Hi F.o.o.t.man, I'd like to know more about Paul's situation, too. He certainly lost all benefits that his old life had with the Jewish authorities. A couple of verses that came to mind are: Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. (Act 3:6 KJVR) And Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. (Mat 17:27 KJVR) Maybe Jesus did not carry money? |
