Bible Question: what is the Greek meaning for the word wealth is it material- or spiritual wealth do we prosper in spirit or natural. I can't find any place where Jesus measured things in the natural, money, This can be a misleading statement by people thats why I want to clarify the matter. |
Bible Answer: Many times in the NT the Greek word translated "wealth" means literal, material wealth or riches. There is no blanket answer to your question. We need to consider one specific verse at a time and see what the Greek word is in that verse. We dare not spiritualize that which is literal. To do so is to misinterpret the Word. |
